Papenmeier teams up with Fontanesi in 2019

Larissa Papenmeier has confirmed her plans for the 2019 season and she will make the switch to Yamaha. The German will actually be team mates with Kiara Fontanesi as she joins the WMX Champion’s team.

Papenmeier was riding one of the few Suzuki’s in the paddock in 2018 but has now decided to join most of the top WMX riders on a Yamaha! She joins Fontanesi, Van de Ven, Duncan and Verstappen who has recently announced she’s also decided to make the switch to Yamaha for the 2019 season.

The German finished third overall in the WMX series this year but will be hoping to challenge for the world title next year.
