Pancar to contest MX2 World Championship in 2019

Young Slovenian rider, Jan Pancar has been toying with the idea of staying in the EMX250 series for another year or to make the step up to the World Championship.

Pancar has now confirmed that he’s decided to make the step up to race the MX2 World Championship at the European rounds of the series.

In terms of his setup, he’ll stay with the Delta Yamaha team for 2019.

“When I got enough sponsors we decided that we are going to race the MX2 World Championship, i will ride only the rounds that take place in Europe. My goal is to ride in the top 20 and maybe some races in the top 10”, Pancar commented.

“I’d like to thank Yamaha delta team krško, transport Rok Miklič, Akrapovič, Tem Čatež, Kovačič transport, kastim, PT_transport and to my federation AMZS”, added Pancar.
