Olsen offers update on hand injury
Thomas Kjer Olsen picked up a hand injury which means he’s needed some time off the bike and missed the pre-season races he was scheduled in to contest. The Danish talent has revealed that he expects to be back on the bike next week and will then race the opening round of the MX2 World Championship at Matterley Basin.
With the small injury it means Olsen won’t come into the season 100% fit and with not as much bike time as he’d have wanted. Olsen is one of the favourites to win the MX2 World Championship in 2020 and with it being his last year in the class due to the age rule he’ll be hoping to win the world title.
Can’t wait to be back my bike. My small hand injury is starting to improve and hoping to be back on the bike next week. Good luck to my team mates racing lacapelle Marival tomorrow. Looking forward to join them behind the gate at MXGP of Britain”, Olsen stated.
