New formula for Belgian Masters

New formula for Belgian Masters

The motocross Belgian Masters 2019 will be completely renewed in 2019. Only the locations remain unchanged, the Keiheuvel in Balen on 15 August and the circuit at the small Gete in Orp on 15 September 2019.

This year a title of Belgian Masters 250 and a title of Belgian Masters 500 will be awarded. Each Belgian Masters competition will consist of a free 5-minute training session, followed immediately by a 20-minute time training session and a 3-minute start-up training. Then the 2 races of 30 minutes and 1 lap. Each race is preceded by a sighting lap. The intention is to approach the MXGP program as closely as possible. GP riders receive a guarantee of qualification.

Also all other BMB solo classes are at the start and can score points for the Belgian championship of their class. In Orp the 65cc and youth (85) will ride on Saturday.

The participants of the Belgian Masters 250 and 500 can earn a lot of money in Balen and Orp. For example, the winner of the two rounds Belgian Masters 250 will return home with EUR 2500 and the winner of the Belgian Masters 500 will be allowed to write EUR 4800 into his account. The total prize pool divided among the 10 first in each class amounts to no less than EUR 22,100.

Promotion

Another important innovation is the collaboration with the Dutchman Arno van den Brink, also known from www.motocrossplanet.nl, who has been working with the Dutch Federation (KNMV) for the Dutch Masters for a number of years. He will take on the full promotion of the championship and, in consultation with the organizer and the federation, ensure the circuit design.

In addition, an extensive video report will be made of each competition and Arno will provide extensive previews, interviews, reports and photos on the digital platforms. In short, every game will be given a new look! So make a note of both dates in your agenda and discover the new Belgian Masters 2019.
