Nancy van de Ven has agreed a new deal which will see her stay on a Yamaha in 2020 by signing with Italian team, Ghidinelli Yamaha racing.
During the season, the young Dutch talent received the news from Yamaha that her contract wouldn’t be extended so she needed to find a new ride in the paddock.
After positive talks with Ghidinelli Yamaha she was able to sign a good deal for 2020.
As well as contesting the WMX series, she’ll also contest several rounds of the Italian Championship.
Nancy van de Ven: “I’m very happy that I can go to a collaboration with the Ghidinelli racing Yamaha team and that Yamaha in the Netherlands are still supporting me. The last few years we had to arrange a lot of things, but now I can ride for a team that will do a lot of things for us. I also know the Yamaha well and it’s positive that I can continue with this. I hope to be able to compete for the world title in 2020.”
