MXGP: Current Championship standings!

After round three of the MXGP World Championship took place in Argentina during the weekend both championships are starting to shape up nicely.

Julien Lieber had the red plate going into Argentina but one bad moto has knocked him down the pecking order to fourth, you really can’t afford to have one bad moto as it’s so competitive! Seewer has the red plate for the first time in his career but only has a three point advantage over Jonass.

Benoit Paturel remains the dark horse for the championship as he is in third only six points behind Seewer, if the French rider can sort his starts out don’t count him out.

MX2 Championship Standings:

After an average pre-season, Tim Gajser has really stepped it up and when it mattered too. After dominating Argentina he takes the red plate and has ten points over the eight times world champion, Antonio Cairoli.

Clement Desalle, Jeremy Van Horebeek and Evgeny Bobryshev are well positioned, a GP win for any of them and it could turn the championship standings on their head.

Romain Febvre won’t be happy to be down in seventh but has showed some good speed. Jeffrey Herlings is currently buried down in thirteen place and a huge sixty-six points behind Gajser.

There is a week break now in the GP’s but roll on Mexico the week after when things will get even more serious.
