Motor2000 KTM Racing team to contest EMX125 & EMX 2T series in 2019
The Motor2000 KTM Racing team had planned to ride another year on 85cc with young talent Jens Walvoort. He missed out on the European final this year with a collarbone injury and was in the shadow of Kay de Wolf and Kay Karssemakers in the Dutch series.
Due to the new age rule the team has to step up now! A big challenge if you look at his physical appearance but he can’t race the EMX or Worlds so it doesn’t make sense to stay on 85cc. The EMX125, Dutch Masters and some international races are planned for a learning year.
Kelton Gwyther from England had a learning full year and made the step to the 250 2 stroke. He came over to live and train in Holland and he will focus on the dutch masters and the new EMX 2t seres. As planned the team will race all the 2t rounds including Russia and Turkey.
Stefan Hage: “I’m happy to continue with the riders that we are involved in from the start. Both the guys made a lot off progress and we can keep building with the support from KTM, Motor2000 and all the people that support us”.
