Mitch Evans sat out the qualifying race during round nine of the MX2 World Championship in Latvia after taking a crash during timed practice.
The Aussie has confirmed he hurt his shoulder but nothing is broken so will take to the line during the main races tomorrow.
As the 114 Motorsports Honda rider didn’t race the qualifying race it means he will have the last gate pick for the main races.
“Had a crash in time practice and banged up my shoulder. Nothing broken just didn’t have enough strength in it to ride the qualifying race. Rest up tonight and I’ll push through the pain to give it my all tomorrow”, Evans commented on social media.
