Meuwissen injured in Spain
Raf Meuwissen recently announced he’s signed with the BT Racing team for the 2020 season and he’s been in Spain putting in the hard work for the season ahead.
Unfortunately, the young Dutch talent has revealed that after his foot came of the foot-peg and hit the ground hard, that he’s broken his fibula again.
It will now be another lengthy recovery and he’ll be forced to miss the start of the season which is a real shame as he’s got lots of potential.
“Hi everyone. Sad to say that my bootcamp in spain has come to an early end because of an broken fibula again.. everything was going good untill my foot came of the footpeg and hit the ground pretty hard, flew back to home yesterday to start my rehab. My goals stay the same for next year and i will keep working hard to achieve them! Thanks to @btracingteam for the hard work and trust. It will pay off one day, thanks for the support and see you soon”, Meuwissen stated.
