MEC – Webb OUT!

RacerX have confirmed that Cooper Webb will have to wait a little longer before starting his 450 career, he won’t be taking part in the Monster Energy Cup this weekend.

Cooper and his team have decided it’s better to miss the event so he can allow the injuries he picked during the AMA Motocross season to heal up so he will be 100% fit when he makes his 450 Supercross debut and show us his real potential.

Cooper will still be at the event as a spectator and to sign autographs for the fans. His team mate, Chad Reed will also take part in the event.

Cooper Webb: “I am so disappointed that I won’t be racing in Las Vegas. This was one of the toughest racing decisions I’ve had to make so far in my racing career but, as Keith said, it’s the right decision to make. And, while I cannot wait to race that beautiful #2 YZ450F for the first time, I definitely want to be 100 percent. I’m not there yet, but I will be for the start of the 2017 supercross season. I’ll be in Vegas this weekend, for sure, even though I won’t be riding. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there.”
