Meara and McCormick win at Seaforde

John Meara took both Grade A moto wins at Seaforde for round four of the Ulster motocross championship on the 450 Watt Kawasaki as Glenn McCormick did the double in MX2 despite tough competition against Jake Sheridan.

McCormick had to pass Sheridan in both motos but neither could quite run down Meara as all three showed some great corner speed on a very slick track that saw traction at a premium.

The trio will now head across to England to contest the MX Nationals tomorrow on what was a shortened day at Seaforde after a crash in the second Grade CMX1 race meant an early end to proceedings as both ambulances had to leave the circuit. Get well soon to all riders involved.

Eoin Duffy fought hard to win both MX2 Grade C motos while Grade B only got one race that saw local man Nathan Green take the win as Conor Mullan went down while up front on lap one but, by the time he fought back from ninth to second, Green had an unassailable lead out front to take an impressive victory.
