At the start of the year, Glenn Mccormick had the opportunity to contest the Arenacross UK series in Belfast with the RFX Suzuki team on a 450cc. He even got to be team mate to MXGP World Championship rider, Evgeny Bobryshev for the weekend.

For the approaching Arenacross UK series which gets underway in the new year, Mccormick will contest all six rounds in the pro lites class which means he will be able to race his 250cc.

Mccormick who’s just recently signed with the UniqueFitout Husqvarna team will contest all six rounds with his new team and make his debut for the team at his home round in Belfast.

The pro lites class is shaping up nicely with the likes of Cyrille Coulon, Nique Thury, Martin Barr and Adrien Escoffier so it’ll be fierce competition but Mccormick will be hoping for some good results.

“After doing the Arenacross in Belfast last year on a bike I really didn’t know, the buzz from the event was just something else. I knew back then I wanted to do it again this year. Especially now that I’ll be on my own bike and I will feel a lot more comfortable”.

“I haven’t got any expectations really as I know these guys are going to be fast and pretty much on it. I just look forward to getting out there and seeing what we can do”, Mccormick commented.
