McCormick and Meara rule Ulster championship at Seaforde!

Glenn McCormick took three wins out of three in a very impressive day on the slick, hard pack track at Seaforde to hold off a determined Jason Meara each time out.

McCormick holeshot all three motos but Meara was quickly into second each time out to begin the hunt, a crash in race one, an apparent bike issue in a race two and small mistake in race three hindered Meara’s chances to really get on terms and force a pass on McCormick who looked to be on rails all day.

Rhys Graham took the semi expert win with Scott Bailey winning the overall in Grade C that produced some great racing.

In the MX1 class John Meara proved unbeatable on the slick circuit as Richard Bird couldn’t quite get on terms, not helped by a first lap crash in race two and not the best start in race three allowing Meara to pull away on the early laps.

Robert Hamilton was good all day on the Honda while Sean Devlin impressed with his raw speed but had an unfortunate crash while running a strong second in race two.

In the semi-experts it was Johnny Presho taking the win, despite coming from the back after a crash in race two with Jordan Wade dominating in smooth fashion taking the win in the Cs.
