Max Anstie update: Back on the bike in a few weeks

Max Anstie has offered an update on his injury after undergoing Achilles surgery 14 weeks ago. The Brit says he’s hoping to be back on the bike in a few more weeks which is good news.

The HEP Suzuki rider can then start to prepare for the AMA Nationals, with his Motocross and MXGP experience there’s no reason why he can’t be a front runner in the class when he’s fully fit.

“My progression from Achilles surgery with @ting.sports.med to walking. I’m at 14 weeks post op and in a few more weeks I’ll be ready to get back on the bike and start work! I have some work to do to be ready to race but I’m progressing each day, even if it is painfully slow at times. hope everyone is staying safe”, Anstie stated on social media.
