James Mackrel has had an impressive start to the season on a Yamaha machine but after splitting ways with Graham Ross and Yamaha he’s made the decision to make the switch to orange.

Mackrel will still be competing in the MX2 Maxxis British Championship but will make his KTM debut tomorrow at Tandragee for round two of the Irish Championship.

“Big change in plans for me with changing to the Edgar Electrical KTM 450cc, after parting ways with Graham Ross it left me with no bike so I had to find something and here we are”, Mackrel said.

“A massive shout out to Adam Lyons, Ricky Watt and Edgar Electrical for sorting me out with a bike and all my other sponsors that continue to help me”, added Mackrel.

Mackrel would like to say thanks to the following sponsors:
