2019 MXGP FIM Motocross World Championship

The most prestigious motocross series in the word only finished at the end of September in Imola and now it’s time to start preparing for the new, 2019 edition. We don’t know the first venue yet, but we do know that the races will start in the second week of March along with the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championships.

Then the races will continue until 29th of September, spanning across the globe – from Great Britain, to Hong Kong, to Turkey to finish up in the Netherlands. Rivals Jeffrey Herlings and Tony Cairoli are expected to compete once again for supremacy with Jorge Prado seeking to defend his world title in MX2 against some motivated rivals, so there’s much to look forward to. 2019 Monster Energy Supercross

The schedule for Monster Energy 2019 has been already announced. This time, the event will take place in some new venues, namely, Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, and Broncos Stadium at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. In 2019, we’ll see more of the amateur supercross program which launched last year (now it’s called Supercross Features). With three rookies entering the series; Justin Hill, Zach Osborne, Aaron Plessinger and Joey Savatgy, along with the current title contenders the series will have more unpredictability and a deeper field of potential podium contenders. The tickets for the races are already available.

As usual, there will be 17 races for 18 weekends. The championship will start on January 5th at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, which hosted the highest amount of supercross races till now. The last round will take place on May 4th at Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas, which is conveniently located near to the Skyline Hotel and Casino. But if you plan to step in after the races have finished, make sure you’re comfortable with the etiquette to avoid any embarrassment.

2019 Lacapelle Marival Masters Motocross International

Along with Hawkstone Park the week before that will feature top riders like reigning MXGP world champ Jeffrey Herlings, plus leading British rider such as  Tommy Searle and Max Anstie , this will be one of the most important International pre-season motocross events in 2019. It will start on February 24th, just two weeks before the first round of the World Championship. As explained by the board member, Vincent Ayroles – “the idea is always to be as close as possible of the first Grand Prix as we expect top teams and riders to be behind our gate come February”.

Over the last five years, Lacapelle attracted some of the biggest names of motocross, and 2019 won’t be any different. With competitors like Jeffrey Herlings, Clement Desalle, Shaun Simpson, it’s going to be a great opening of the 2019 outdoor motocross season.

2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross

In 2019, we’ll already see the 48th season of the USA’s motocross series. The first Lucas Oil competition took place in 1972 and since then, it attracted nationwide attention and some of the best racers in the world.

The start date is scheduled for May 18th and the opening venue will be Prairie City SVRA in Rancho Cordova, California. The one new venue added to the mix is The Muddy Creek in Tennessee, which is overall a great raceway. The races will go on in the 450 class and 250 class, and we can expect lots of excitements and biggest moto stars in attendance.

There will be twelve events in total, the last one being Ironman National scheduled for August 24th in Crawfordsville, Indiana. You can check the full schedule at the official website of the event.
