Livin’ the Dream is a unique new book for motocross fans covering the Hitachi/ASA KTM UK team and offering exclusive insight into what it takes to compete in MXGP.

It briefly covers the history of the team, sponsors and pre-season before launching into the world championships. Each round of the championship is a chapter with unique interviews and side stories in every chapter that cover all aspects of life in the GP paddock.

“I haven’t set out to make anyone look bad but I haven’t covered anything up…… it’s definitely a ‘warts-n-all’ story,” says author Andy Gee.

“I’ve been working for as a freelance journalist, covering the British riders in MXGP and the EMX championships. A lot happens behind the scenes that the fans never know about so when Roger Magee agreed to give me full access to the Hitachi/ASA KTM UK team, Britain’s most successful MXGP team, the opportunity was too good to miss.

“Despite claiming the team’s twelfth Maxxis MX2 British championship, 2018 turned out to be a rollercoaster for Graeme Irwin and Conrad Mewse, with injuries, mid-season slumps and personal issues plus some undisclosed headaches for Roger and the team……..and it’s all laid bare. I’m a journalist but I’m a motocross fan first and this is the book that I would want to read.”

The book is only available from eBay (search Livin the dream by Andy Gee) or by e-mailing your name and address to thedream@btinternet.com.

Price is £15 per copy plus p&p £4 to UK addresses, £10 to Europe and £13 worldwide

It’s not available through Amazon or in W.H.Smiths but trade enquiries are welcome from motorcycle dealers who would like to stock the book.
