Promising young German, Simon Längenfelder has secured a ride in the paddock for the 2019 season as he’s agreed a deal with the WZ KTM Racing team.
Längenfelder showed plenty of promise this year with a privateer setup and because of that has another with a team for the year ahead. He’ll contest in the EMX125 Championship as well as the ADAC German series.
One area the young German will want to improve on is his consistency as he was up and down this year but there’s no doubt when he gets a good start he can run the pace at the front. He was impressive in Latvia as he just missed the podium by finishing fourth overall but he’ll be hoping for more results like that in 2019.
The young German joins Afonso Gaidão who’s already been confirmed for the WZ Racing team but the team is expected to run another four riders in 2019.
“In 2019, I will race for WZ Racing. I’m very happy about that! I also want to say thank Harald Pfeil and his whole team. Now I have to give full gas to get ready for the next year”. Längenfelder commented on the move.
