Young Estonian talent, Karel Kutsar has made the decision to make the move to the 450cc for the year ahead. Kutsar has had spells both in the MX2 World Championship as well as the EMX250 series so far throughout his career.

Kutsar first emerged in the GP paddock aged just sixteen with the Sahkar KTM team. He’s showed glimpses of what he could do and especially at the deep sand tracks which he seems to favour.

For 2019, Kutsar will receive support from KTM Estonia to contest the Estonian championship. He might also contest the Latvian series and could do up to three rounds of the MXGP World Championship.

“The decision to to go MX1 is because of my weight and to ride the 450 is cheaper. The expectation is to get used to the 450cc and try my best to win the Estonian Championship. I want to thank all my sponsors who help me so much the way they do”. Kutsar commented.

Kutsar posted the news on social media:
