Krestinov leaves Phoenix Tools Apico Kawasaki

Gert Krestinov has spent the past four years with the Phoenix Tools Apico Kawasaki team but it’s been confirmed he’s left the team.

The final round of the Maxxis British Championship at Landrake was his last race with the team and it remains to be seen if he’ll stay in the British paddock.

As for the Phoenix Tools Apico Kawasaki team, they head into the 2020 season with Jason Meara and Carlton Husband under the awning.

“Tough saying goodbye to this gentleman today, Gert Krestinov, you have been an absolute pleasure to have on my team for the past 4 years, I regard you as friend and will miss you for sure as will your mechanic, you have given the team it’s first GP points and the teams first British race win. Good luck for your future and thank you”, the team stated.
