Kim Savaste goes 450cc in 2020

Young Finnish talent, Kim Savaste has revealed that he will step up and race the 450cc for the 2020 season. Savaste is very talented but injuries have been tough on him since making the move up to the 250cc.

Savaste has joined the 137 KTM Motorsport team and he’ll focus on the Finnish Championship in 2020. We will see him in the GP paddock occasionally as he hopes to contest some rounds of the new EMX Open championship.

If he gets an entry for his home GP in Finland he also hopes to race the MXGP World Championship there.

The main thing for Savaste is to avoid injury this year and hopefully he can rebuild his career and remind us all of his talents.

“For next year, I will race with the 137 Motorsport team and I will race the 450cc. I will do the Finnish Championship and some EMX Open races. You know, it’s still a little bit in the planning point but probably just a few EMX open races. I’ll do the World Championship at the Finnish round, we will know more later. I will start riding in February because the shoulder is still healing, I still have to wait a few more months. I still do the physical training before starting with the bike”, Savaste told GateDrop.com.
