Kemea Yamaha goes factory in 2020

Yamaha recently announced news of a change in structure for the 2020 season. One of the announcements going under the radar is that the Kemea Yamaha team will be full factory for the 2020 season.

The team will keep Ben Watson and Jago Geerts for the upcoming season and it means both riders will be full factory for the first time in their career, a move in the right direction from Yamaha.

The team will now been known as the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team.

“Strengthening Yamaha’s upgraded racing strategy, the Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha MX2 Team owned by Hans Corvers will be morphed into the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team. The team will line-up in 2020 with the same talented riders from this season, Jago Geerts and Ben Watson”, stated a Yamaha press release.
