Julien Lieber back on the bike!
Good news for Julien Lieber and Belgian fans as he is finally back on the bike again! Julien needed to undergo an operation before the start of the season which meant he missed the entire 2016 which was bad news for the Belgian.
Julien has started riding a Yamaha but it remains to be seen what the foreseeable future holds for him. Yamaha have already announced Kemea Yamaha squad as the official Yamaha team with Benoit Paturel, Brent Van Doninck and Alvin Ostlund. It remains to be seen if Julien will ride on another Yamaha team.
The 2017 season will be Julien’s last in the MX2 class so he will need good results go earn an MXGP ride in ’18 – no pressure! If the latest rumours are to be believed then he could be on a Honda for the 2017 season. We will have to watch this space on that one!
