Josh Hill to fill in for Cooper Webb in final two supercross races

Yamaha have confirmed that Josh Hill will return after a one-off ride in Seattle for the final two rounds of the supercross series to final in for the injured Cooper Webb.

Hill ran as high as fourth in the mud before crashes took their toll but his raw talent and speed isn’t in question so it will be interesting to see how he fairs on dry track over the next two weeks.

They helped me get some good Supercross suspension on it so I could get some practice in. I was thinking about trying to get ready for the Las Vegas Supercross and try to just have fun with a good dry race under my belt since Seattle was so muddy. Unfortunately, Cooper Webb had a big get-off on the start of the race in Minneapolis, he’s not going to be able to compete. I was lucky enough to get the phone call to come fill in for him for these last few remaining races. I’m really excited about the opportunity!
