Jorge Prado to run #1 in 2019?

After winning the 2018 MX2 World Championship, Jorge Prado has earned the #1 plate if he decides to run with it.

Pauls Jonass who won the title in 2017 decided to run the #1 plate in 2018 but it didn’t work out for him as Prado beat him to this years title.

It’s always cool to see a rider run the #1 plate and for the casual fans who might only watch the odd moto or the highlights, they’ll know he’s the best rider in the class. It does bring more pressure though as everyone wants to take it off you!
