Jordan Mccaw ruled out of Desertmartin!

Jordan Mccaw has stepped up to the 450cc this year and looked good on his Husqvarna machinery. He was getting prepared to race the MX1 class at his home round of the Maxxis British Championship which would have been a good learning curve for him.

However, at the latest round of the Irish Championship in Doon, things didn’t go to plan. Mccaw took a crash during qualifying and the result of the injury is a broken thumb. Unfortunately, it rules Mccaw out of action for Desertmartin and around two months on the sidelines which is a setback.

Jordan Mccaw: “I broke my first metacarpal in my thumb, it’s a clean break but hopefully I don’t need any surgery, I broke it at doon Irish championship. I am extremely gutted as I was lying 2nd in the MX1 points on my first year on the 450.

I was really looking forward to doing my first ever British championship event at Desertmartin but unfortunately this has happened, but that’s the joys of motocross you get times like this. I’ll get myself fit again and get back at it.
