James Scott secures EMX125 ride!

Young Kiwi rider, James Scott has managed to secure a ride to contest the EMX125 Championship for the rest of the season. Scott isn’t a complete stranger in the Grand Prix paddock as he’s rode a few rounds of the EMX150 Championship in the past.

The F4E KTM team have decided to sign him, the team is of course a new team in the paddock for the 2018 season but are already having success in the class with Mario Lucas Sanz getting on the podium.

As well as Lucas Sanz, Scott will join Kjell Verbruggen and Wannes Van de Voorde under the awning as the team will now have four riders.

As well as the EMX125 series, Scott will contest the Dutch Masters Championship starting this weekend in Mill and the open Dutch championships races.

Jimmy Verburgh (Team manager):  Ben townley called me up last winter checking out my plans for the new team, this is how we started the conversation and making plans to get James over. Unfortunately he broke his arm and had to miss out the first rounds. But he is ready to roll now! I expect him to work hard and do his best. Results wise I have no expectations, he is here to learn and I am happy to give him that chance.

You can see James in action on his new ride in the video below:
