James Dunn – GL12 Racing!

James Dunn – GL12 Racing!

It has recently been announced that Lewis Gregory will step away from racing whilst he sorts himself out after suffering from concussing and a neck injury resulting in nerve problems at Hawkstone International.

The GL12 KTM outfit have acted quickly to sign up a replacement as James Dunn joins the team. At the moment he is scheduled to take part in the all new British Two Stroke class at Hawkstone next weekend where he will hope to bang bars with team mate, Mike Kras and Neville Bradshaw.

Dunn is also set to take part in the first round of the EMX300 series with the team that will take place at Teutschenthal. Dunn is a talented boy and could certainly run at the front in both classes but at the moment these are the only races he will contest with the team. There could be an option to do more but it will also depend on Lewis Gregory’s situation and when he can make a return to racing.

You might remember Dunn initially signed to contest the MX2 World Championship this year with the I-Fly JK Yamaha outfit but that deal fell through. Dunn then contested the British Arenacross series with the MVR-D Husqvarna outfit but he was left with no ride for the outdoors.

As he had no ride for the outdoors he decided to take a break from motocross but the GL12 team will give him the chance to get back in the paddock. It will be interesting to see how he performs on the two-stroke but he certainly has the talent to run at the front.
