Italian Championship RD1: Results

The first round of the Italian Championship took place at the weekend and it was a good weekend for Simeone Furlotti as he grabbed glory in the MX2 class. He didn’t have enough for Cervellin in the first moto but he won the second moto to clinch the overall and take the red plate to round two. The Italian is looking good on the Yamaha!

Ivo Monticelli had a good day finishing second overall and Cervellin salvaged a podium after a problem in the second moto. Larranaga and EMX250 rookie, Roan van de Moosdijk rounded out the top five in the overall results.

MX2 Moto Two:

There was somewhat of a surprise winner in the first MX1 moto of the day as Riccardo Righi put on a good show to beat the top GP riders competing. However, in the second moto it was Alessandro Lupino that grabbed glory, taking the overall and the championship lead with that.

With better second moto’s for 8Biano Husqvarna riders, Rui Goncalves and Tanel Leok rounded of the podium on the day.
