Injury update: Rene Hofer – out for the season
Bad news for the EMX125 points leader, Rene Hofer as he crashed during the fifth round of the ADAC MX Youngsters Cup. The young Austrian has been competing the series on a 250cc which will help him with his future development.
However, after the crash at Tensfeld, Hofer needs to undergo surgery for two pelvis fractures. It means the very talented will miss out on the EMX125 title which is a huge shame.
Benistant currently sits second in the series so could be the next guy in line for the title but with Lommel taking place this weekend it will suit the likes of Weckman and Dankers.
KTM posted the following update regarding Rene Hofer:
