During the second moto in Sweden, Henry Jacobi appeared to twist his knee and pulled out of the race – without even crashing!
The latest word on Jacobi is there’s no breaks but the cruciate ligament of his right knee has been injured.
Jacobi will face more tests tomorrow to see how long he’ll be out of action for.
The Germans will be hoping Jacobi will be fit for the Motocross Des Nations in Assen next month.
The following update was posted on Jacobi’s social media page.
“Update! F&H Kawasaki Racer Henry Jacobi is now on his way home together with his parents. The German was treated in the medical centre on the track at Uddevalla after an unfortunate maneuver in MX2 heat 2. No breaks, but the cruciate ligament of the right knee is affected. Tomorrow there will be a medical appointment at the “Schloss Werneck” clinic and then it’s possible to make a serious statement about his situation. We’ll keep you updated”.
