Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Romain Febvre has been forced to withdraw from the seventeenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Afyon, Turkey, following a heavy fall in the Timed Practice session earlier this afternoon.
Injury update: Good news for Febvre
After setting the fastest lap time in the first practice session, Febvre had an unfortunate crash while trying to better his lap-time in the second practice. The Frenchman suffered a concussion in the accident and was taken to hospital for further medical examination where it was confirmed that no other injury was sustained.
As a precautionary measure, Febvre will not line-up for the Turkish Grand Prix tomorrow. Β An update on his return to racing will be shared on www.Yamaha-Racing.com and Yamaha’s Official social media platforms when available.
