Cab Screens Honda rider, Dan Thornhill picked up a shoulder injury last month and has now decided that the best thing to do is undergo surgery.

Thornhill has recently had the required operation and will get the next check up in around a month’s time when he will know more about when he could get back on the bike.

The Cabs Screen Honda team posted the following update:

“Wanted to update everyone on Dan Thornhill’s progress, since he injured his right shoulder at Lyng a month ago. After consultation Dan has had some extensive surgery on it in Belgium. The surgery took place yesterday and early signs are it was a success.

Dan is out of hospital and will be in a sling for 4 weeks before being reassessed, when we can learn more about recovery times.

We wish Dan all the best and will do all we can to support him back to fitness and health”.
