You might have noticed that Alvin Ostlund didn’t take part in the qualification race in Argentina. Unfortunately for the Swede he collided with another rider in free practice and suffered concussion which meant he’s out for the GP on medical grounds.

Yamaha have released a statement regarding the latest on the Kemea Yamaha rider.

“Alvin Östlund had a rider fall in front of him in Free Practice and was unfortunately caught out by the incident. He fell and suffered a concussion which has put him out of this round of racing. You can expect to see the young Swede back on the line in Mexico in two-weeks time”.

At least it’s not too serious and he should be back at the next round of the MX2 World Championship taking place in Mexico.
