Injury rules Covington out of Detroit
Thomas Covington who’s back in the States racing Supercross this year tried to ride Detroit Supercross but has had to pull out after free practice.
The American twisted his knee whilst putting in the laps to prepare for Detroit and thought he’d be okay to race but unfortunately it’s not the case.
Covington does hope to be back for Daytona though so it doesn’t seem like a big injury which is the good news.
“Unfortunately I won’t be racing tonight in Detroit. Twisted my knee last week and thought I’d be fine by this weekend but it’s still not 100%. Hope to be back by Daytona”, Covington posted on social media.
