Hitachi Construction Machinery Revo KTM UK and Petrov split ways

Bulgarian Petar Petrov has left the Hitachi Revo KTM UK team to join the CLS Kawasaki team  for the rest of the season as a replacement for the injured Dylan Ferrandis

Hitachi Construction Machinery Revo KTM UK have released the following statement:

British Champions Hitachi Construction Machinery Revo KTM and MX2 rider Petar Petrov have mutually agreed to end the Bulgarian’s 2015 contract with the team with immediate effect. Petrov joined the crew for his first attempt at the MX2 FIM Motocross World Championship in KTM colours and also the Maxxis British national series but after failing to achieve the results that both parties were eyeing this campaign the decision has been made to dissolve the current relationship.

“We had high hopes for 2015 with Petar but unfortunately things have not gone as we would have hoped,” said Team Principal Roger Magee. “He has decided to move onwards and so shall we. Ben Watson will continue to represent us with the 250SX-F and the season is picking up for Shaun Simpson in MXGP as he remains unbeaten in the UK and has reached the top six several times in one of the most competitive Grand Prix championships we have ever seen.”
