Hitachi ASA KTM UK to sign up another MX2 rider for 2019

Team owner at the Hitachi ASA KTM UK team, Roger Magee has confirmed the team will sign another MX2 World Championship rider for the 2019 season.

“We have Graeme onboard again next year along with Conrad for a further two seasons. We will also announce a second MX2 rider at the Dirt Bike Show”, Magee stated in a press release.

In 2017 the team had decided to only run one rider in each class, Graeme Irwin in MXGP and Conrad Mewse in MX2 but the team will expand and run a total of three riders in 2019.

The new signing will also compete in the MX2 Maxxis British Championship as well as the compete World series.

Magee confirmed the signing will be announced at the Dirt Bike show so you can expect an official press release during the 1st – 4th November.
