Haarup: Things haven’t been going as planned

Young Danish talent, Mikkel Haarup only found out a few weeks before the first round of the MX2 World Championship that he’d be heading to Argentina and racing the series.

The Ice One Rockstar Husqvarna rider has a lot of potential to become one of the top riders in the series but things haven’t been going to plan so far this season.

At round two of the series at Matterley Basin, Haarup broke his collarbone which ruled him out for rounds three and four of the championship.

Haarup is working harder than ever to reach his goals though and is expected to return at round five of the MX2 World Championship in Mantova.

“Things haven’t been going as planned for me in the past couple of months, but it’s not gonna hold me back from reaching my goals! Everyday my team and I are working hard getting me back to 100% and preparing me for the upcoming races. And i know that the hard work we put in eventually will pay off. Sometimes you just gotta take 1 step back to move 2 steps forward”, Haarup commented.
