It’s been a while since Valentin Guillod has been behind the start gate but he raced the Swiss Championship at the weekend on a standard Honda.

The Swiss talent finished third in both the moto’s behind Gautier Paulin and Arnaud Tonus – stiff competition. Guillod had only been riding the standard Honda two weeks prior the event so was happy with his performance.

It will be interesting to see what the rest of the season has in store for Guillod and if we see him back in MXGP but he wants to be back at the races.

“Mx Frauenfeld, two times 3rd behind Paulin and Tonus, I did some positive things and saw what I have to work on, with a full standard Honda 450 and two weeks on it. I proved to myself I want to be back. Thanks to everyone who help and support me”, Guillod commented.
