Tom Grimshaw was gearing up for his EMX250 debut at Matterley Basin this weekend but unfortunately has picked up an injury whilst competing at the latest round of the MX National.

Unfortunately, it’s the end of the season for the young Brit as he snapped his humerus away from his growth plate and separated his shoulder.

The target for Grimshaw now is to come back stronger than ever in the 2019 season.

Grimshaw posted the following message on social media, “@mxnationalsuk proved to be the toughest day of my life, Race 1 on Sunday I had a massive crash snapping my humerus away from my growth plate and separating my shoulder. This has sadly put a end to my season and just want to say a massive thank you to my family, friends, sponsors and to all the people who have sent kind messages.”
