The Lacapelle International event which takes place on the 24th February have already confirmed Jeffrey Herlings in the MX1 class.

They have now announced a top MX2 rider that will participate the event, in the form of Jago Geerts who will race on his Kemea Yamaha.

Geerts had a good rookie season in the MX2 World Championship and will be working to be even better in 2019. It’s good to see him contest a hard pack pre-season race because if he can improve his hard pack riding he could really surprise next year.

Moto-Club Lacapelle Marival announced that Geerts will race at their event next year on social media:
