French rider sadly passes away

Motocross is an amazing sport but it’s also dangerous at the best of times. Unfortunately, sad news is emerging from France today that Boris Prudhomme who was only 23 years old has sadly passed away.

The young rider was racing a Supercross race in France today – the Supercross of La bosse de Bretagne. Prudhomme races at a National level in France. He took a big crash and immediately went to hospital where he was placed in intensive care but the sad news has emerged that he’s lost his life.

It’s very sad news, we’d like to send our best wishes to his family, close friends and loved ones he’s left behind.

The Moto Club Brienon posted the statement on social media:

“RIP – BORIS PRUDHOMME. It is with immense sadness that we write these words.  Boris was only 23 years old, a very friendly boy and the motorcycle sport was his passion. We extend our condolences to all his family, his girlfriend.

Boris Prudhomme was one of our members. The Moto Club Brienon is very affected by the death of Boris following a fall during the Supercross of La bosse de Bretagne.
