French Championship RD3: Results

It’s good to see some fast wildcards race the third round of the French Elite Championship this weekend. Not only is Benoit Paturel racing the MX1 class but his two team mates, Brent van Doninck and Alvin Ostlund are competing in the MX2 class. Also joining them in the MX2 class is Kawasaki GP rider, Stephen Rubini.

It was a fantastic day for Xavier Boog winning the overall but he has also opened up a thirty point championship lead. Valentin Teillet who won the first moto, DNF’d the second moto which means it’s going to be tricky stopping Boog from winning the title.

Nicolas Aubin rode well to get himself on the podium with a third overall. Benoit Paturel just missed out on the podium as he had to settle for fourth overall on his 450 debut.

In the MX2 class it was Anthony Boissiere who surprised and won both of the moto’s on the day and ahead of some serious talent too. Henri Giraud had his best round so far this series to clinching second overall. Florent Richier was third overall but takes the red plate to round four.

Brent Van Doninck suffered from a disastrous start in the second moto but managed to get back to fourth but that was only good enough for fourth overall.
