Despite Yamaha announcing that Romain Febvre would be undergoing surgery next week on his broken ankle, the French rider has took to social media to say he’s going to have a few opinions from different doctors to see if it’s required.

We will continue to keep you updated on the matter but whether or not surgery is required, it’s likely to be a length spell on the sidelines for Febvre.

Febvre posted the following message on social media:

“Sad news: Broken talus, clearly, I’m now discussing with doctors to have few opinions to see if surgery will be necessary or not!
You can imagine how I feel now, no words needed…! Will keep you update for the following news.
Thanks to all the people who send me some wishes… Thanks to all my sponsors who got my back”!

    AGE DISCRIMINATION is real people!
