Everts no longer in intensive care

In a new press release, more positive news regarding Stefan Everts has been revealed. The ten times world motocross champion who was struck by malaria early in December, has left intensive care and has now been placed in a rehabilitation centre.

For the next six weeks, Everts will be in the rehabilitation centre in order to continue working on his recovery. It’s another big step forward for Everts who was fighting for his life.

Everts is still weak so needs to take it day-by-day but he should continue to get stronger at the rehabilitation centre.
