EMX150: The Preview!

EMX150 Honda press release:

24MX, Europe’s largest online motocross store, has supported Honda’s commitment to youth talent since the championship’s inception in 2013, and will increase its support to become the main sponsor of the German Honda 150 European Championship event.

As part of the promotion, Honda’s ‘talent of tomorrow’ will ride 24MX liveried Honda CRF150R machines and wear 24MX team uniform.

This year 30 riders from 16 countries will be battling to become the next Honda 150 European Champion, while benefitting from riding in the youth support series to MXGP. As part of this the 11-14 year olds will experience the MXGP paddock, be able to watch and learn from their favourite GP riders and become part of the Honda Racing Family.

The riders have already been able to get to grips with their CRF150R machines at the lovemytraining pre-season training camp, held in Boves, Italy, in April. To watch the preview video to the year, filmed at the training camp, click here

This year the Honda 150 European Championship will be present at five grand prix rounds in 2017: Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden and The Netherlands.

Gordon Crockard, Honda Europe Off-Road Manager

“Exclusively for the opening round of the 2017 Honda 150 Championship, Honda are delighted to welcome 24MX with their support to the riders. Kicking off the season in style, the riders will have special one event branded 24MX sticker kits on their CRF150R race bikes and matching paddock uniforms. I think it is great for the young riders to learn and understand the importance of sponsorship relations, helping those that help you not only matters in life but also in motocross.”

Daniel Petersen, Co-founder of 24MX

“We are really happy to have this opportunity to support to the talent of tomorrow. We have been partnered with Honda for four years now and it’s great to take our co-operation to the next level. A wise man once said ‘The good thing about being young is that you are not experienced enough to know you cannot possibly do the things you are doing’ and seeing these youngsters taking on this challenge with such a passion for the sport is a true honour.”
