DIGA-Procross Husqvarna announce 2019 rider line up

The German Team DIGA-Procross, based in Cologne, will continue to participate in the whole MX2 World Championship and European Championship with Husqvarna bikes.

The Dutchmen, Davy Pootjes, will ride the 2019 MX2 World Championship and Dutch Masters of Motocross on a DIGA-Procross Husqvarna.
Pootjes, who has achieved consistently good results in the 2018 season, until his injury in Indonesia, has already made a name for himself with strong performances in previous years. He possesses a great deal of talent, potential and motivation to get consistent Top 10 finishes in the MX2 World Championship. Together with Husqvarna Motorcycles, Robert Jonas and Diego Clement, the DIGA-Procross team has managed to put together a suitable package for the former junior European champion to take part in over 20 races worldwide.

Justin Amian: “I am very grateful for the trust in the team and me by Husqvarna Motorcycles, especially by Robert Jonas and Diego Clement. With Davy Pootjes, we’ve been able to attract a talented and highly motivated athlete to our team. We are looking forward to get started.“
Davy Pootjes: “I’m really happy to join DIGA-Procross for season 2019. It’s a good and professional team that showed some good results in the GPs already. I’m looking forward to a great year with good people behind me!”

In the EMX250 and the ADAC Youngster Cup, the young German rider Jeremy Sydow and the Swede Filip Olsson will move out on a DIGA-Procross Husqvarna.
Filip Olsson, who has competed for DIGA-Procross in the EMX125 and ADAC Junior Cup 125 in the 2018 season already, has received numerous podium finishes in both series. He will be riding a DIGA-Procross Husqvarna FC250 for the upcoming season and step up to prove himself in the ADAC Youngster Cup and EMX250.
With Jeremy Sydow DIGA-Procross secures a raw diamond of German motocross’ young talents. In the 2015 season, Jeremy Sydow won the ADAC Junior Cup 85 as well as a strong seventh overall in the EMX125 2017. The Chemnitz native could also convince experts of his talent in his first outing in the EMX250. At all events Sydow managed to qualify for the races and already caught some attention with a fourth and two fifth places. For the 2019 season, Jeremy Sydow has set the goal to be permanently in the Top 10 of the EMX250. In the ADAC Youngster Cup he strives for a Top3 in the championship standings with already having several podium finishes under his belt.

Justin Amian: “For the EMX250 we have a very clear concept. We want to work with young, motivated and talented riders and develop them in a professional environment. With Jeremy Sydow and Filip Olsson we found the perfect guys for our project.“

Filip Olsson: “I am very happy to be part of the DIGA-Procross Husqvarna team in 2019 as well. It’s fantastic to work with the team and we have every opportunity to get good results.“

Jeremy Sydow: “For me, it is another important step in the right direction to continue my career in International Motocross. I’m really looking forward to the new assignment in 2019 and the new team. I’ve known the team around Justin Amian for years from the paddock and get along very well with all team members. It is an additional motivation for me to thank them for their trust in me with good results.“
