Dewulf joins Sarholz KTM

After Stefan Ekerold picked up an injury for the Sarholz KTM team, they have acted quickly to draft in a replacement rider.

The German team have decided to sign Belgian rider, Jeffrey Dewulf. Dewulf is an experienced rider and has been round a long time and will race the rest of the ADAC MX Masters for the team.

Dewulf will also ride some remaining rounds of the MXGP World Championship with the team starting at his home round of the series in Lommel.

If both parties work well together and are happy at the end of the season there’s every chance that Dewulf will stay with the team for the 2019 season too.

Jeffrey Dewulf: “I’m very happy to have this opportunity to ride for the Sarholz KTM team, it’s an experienced team that runs for a long time within the paddock. I’m looking forward to working with them and step up my level of riding”.

Andre Sarholz (Team Manager): “Jeffrey is doing a great job this year. He is really consistent. We want him developing even more and are really happy he signed. If both sides are feeling good together, there is a possibility to extend the contract”.
