At the end of last year, Ken De Dycker announced that he was retiring from the sport after a tough season with the 24MX Honda outfit in MXGP. However, since then the Belgian has been putting the laps in on a KTM and seems to have fallen back in love with the sport.
We will still see plenty of Ken De Dycker at the races as he’s signed with the WZ Racing KTM team to contest the entire ADAC MX Masters series. The team usually focus on the MX2 class but have decided to expand and run a 450cc rider in the ADAC MX Masters series this year.
The first round of the series takes place this weekend in Drehna. De Dycker has already rode a few rounds of the MXGP World Championship this year on his privateer KTM as well as getting the call from the BOS GP team to contest the last two rounds as a fill in rider for Jordi Tixier.
