Chad Reed injury update – out for the season

Chad Reed says his supercross season is over after getting landed on in an ugly crash in Seattle.

The JGR Suzuki man said he has eight broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a broken scapula in what will be a very painful few weeks ahead for the tough Aussie.

But encouragingly Reed said: “I’ll be back,” which means it looks like retirement isn’t on the agenda just yet and the two-time champ appears to be confident of securing a deal for the 2020 season.

Meanwhile, Justin Brayton, who was also involved in the crash, says he is very sore and fears he has torn his ACL/MCL in his left knee after he got chucked from his Smarttop Honda and landed off the track on his back.
